Anyone who knows Logan knows that he is a fun-loving, boisterous, energetic, physical kid. He is not particularly cautious in his approach to fun. Rather, he dives headfirst into his playtime (often very literally). It is no surprise when he has bumps, scrapes, and bruises from his endeavors. That said, some days you just feel like you have to give him a little extra protection.
This morning, he cracked his melon a few too many times in a row (all before 8 am) when playing in the tight confines of the couch fortress we created for the boys in the living room. Karen made an offhand comment about how he needed a helmet and the little man thought that was an excellent idea.
Gotta protect that melon!
