OK, here is where I get to share some pics of our time in the Heuwinkel backyard. Karen and I love this backyard. We've been stuck in our townhome for too long and have been jealous of everyone who can open up their back door and just step into their own personal outdoor space. Added to the great space was the fact that even though it was extremely hot the entire time we were there, Billings heat is not the same as Shakopee heat. There is no humidity. With their heat index adjustments, they actually LOSE degrees of heat (94 degrees but feels like 90 type of thing). I forgot that such a thing existed.
Anyway, lots of pool time and chillin' in the hammock and swing time and stick playing time or just sitting and talking or eating around the outdoor table. The kids got along great. Ain't Plum a cutey?

And of course, we had to take some backyard group shots. The Council Bluffs boys and their kids (a napping Plum being represented by the monitor in Ryan's hand) and then all of the Iowa City clan and their kids. Thank you for taking that photo Elizabeth!!!
