The Adventures of Fred and Chuck - Sub Upgrade

As discussed in a previous post, Captain Fred and his First Mate Chuck have been exploring the world's oceans. ALL of the world's oceans. Their previous submarine proved too small for the sorts of long distance voyages the captain had in mind. Fortunately, significant financial help came to them in the form of a grant from the Society of Oceanic Study (S.O.S.). A new sub!

Clearly, the new submarine is a significant upgrade over the last. Roomy and comfortable. Capt. Fred is still his serious self - directing the mission with an iron hand from the front lines (although at the suggestion of his PR rep, he has taken up fishing from the sub while it cruises the surface in attempt to mitigate his otherwise stern and uncompromising demeanor). His no nonsense personality occasionally affects his normally lighthearted sidekick (seen in a more pensive mood in the pics below) but all in all, First Mate Chuck can still be counted on to bring a little much needed levity to the high pressure situations they often find themselves in (ESPECIALLY during the high speed escapes they seem to always require to avoid danger).
