Though she was rather ill at the time (had not gone to work the day before and would be sick for 14 more days with her bout of flu/severe cold/bronchitis), Karen spent her traditional day off for a son's birthday with Logan. The early morning was his 3-year doctor appointment (he was 36 lbs and 39 inches with a 16.64 BMI) and then a fun trip to the indoor park in Eagan (during which Logan scared himself and others when he tripped a fire alarm opening a door he wasn't supposed to). Then it was home for nap and TV time while they waited for me and Owen to arrive.
After dinner that night, we did cake and presents (he received a large firetruck toy and a book about firetrucks, just like he had asked for). Karen took a few pics with her phone when they were at the indoor park and I captured a few still shots from the birthday video I took (below).
