Due to scheduling needs with Owen's friends, we held his "main" birthday party (I call it that because like last year, he continued to get presents from people all the way through July) a bit early (June 27) this year. It was a Magic themed party and we hired a magician (clown) that the adults found pretty sad but was perfect for a bunch of 6 year olds (and a few younger siblings). I took video of the performance but don't have any pictures of the "clownician" to share here. Too bad for you. ;-)
The magician's performance was inside, most of the eating took place on the three season porch, we had the bounce house up for back yard outdoor entertainment, and after presents inside the kids went out onto the driveway to beat the stuffing out of a pinata. It all went pretty fast.

Each kid got a magic hat filled with goodies (including their own magic wand).
