Last of the B.L. (Before Logan) Pics

My mom (aka Nani) came down on December 6 to stay with her mom (Mari) and be available to watch Owen when Karen and I went to the hospital for Logan's birth. Considering that Dec 6 was the modified due date (the original due date was Dec 10 but the Dr. moved it up a bit in later visits), it seemed like a good idea. Not to mention that Karen had her first somewhat strong night of contractions on the 6th.

Well, as we all know, the lil' man didn't decide to make an appearance until 10 days later (the day before he had been scheduled to be induced) so Mom had plenty of time to re-bond with Owen (including one trip to the zoo), visit with Mari, finish her Christmas shopping, and knit a number of scarves and blankets.

As might be expected, there were LOTS of photos taken during this time. I chose just a handful to post below. They include some of our Play Doh time with Owen, reading books with Owen, playing on the iPad with Owen, watching movies with Owen, and of course watching football with Owen (and having him do "human canonballs" off of me at the same time).

Thanks again, Nani. Obviously, it was a much longer visit than any of us initally anticipated but your presence was such a relief to us. It reduced our anxiety about having someone there to watch O knowing you were only 10 minutes away instead of 5 hours. Thanks also to you, Dad. Had to have been a bit lonely up there in Ironwood after that long!
