Decorating the Tree

Well, the free tree we got from Ben and Mel turned out to be very nice. It was tied up in a tight bundle and frozen solid when we brought it home but it let down its branches to reveal a full and mostly symmetrical symbol of Christmas. It made the living room smell great. Karen and the boys descended on it like holiday predators on a fresh kill and in seemingly no time at all, the tree was fully lit and decorated.

This year, the decorations are a bit heavy 36" and lower but considering the work crew, that is exactly as it should be.
